“It was a good one,” Browning cross country coach Roy McNabb said of the Sept. 27 meet in Whitefish. Coach McNabb said his team is beginning to “run as a pack,” and while there were few personal best times set in Whitefish he said Browning “stacked up good in Western A.”
Browning hosted its own invitational meet at the East Glacier Park Golf Course on Tuesday, Oct. 4, which is also the site of the Western A Fall Classic on Oct. 15. Coach McNabb notes having canceled Browning’s participation in the 7 on 7 meet in Helena on Oct. 6. The team will compete on Saturday, Oct. 8, in Polson, where the runners get started at noon.
