Sophomore Austin Vanek spent just 3:03 on the mat on his way to four pins and the 160-lb. title Dec. 14 in Superior.

The Cut Bank Wolves wrestling and boys and girls basketball squads wrapped up the pre-Christmas break portion of their schedules last week and will not be back in action until 2020.

The Cut Bank grappers competed Dec. 19 in Browning and Dec. 20-21 in Great Falls.

The Wolves and Lady Wolves traveled to Fairfield and Conrad last weekend to finish the 2019 portion of their schedule.

Due to early Christmas print deadlines, no results were available at press time.

The Cut Bank wrestlers will be back on the mat Jan. 2, at Shelby’s Santa Showdown event before hosting the Cut Bank Booster Club Invitational Jan. 10-11 in Willie DeGroot Gymnasium.

The boys and girls basketball squads will start the new year with three road games. The hoopsters ge to Rocky Boy on Jan. 3, Browning Jan. 10 and Choteau Jan. 11.
