The Coyote track and field teams were in Cut Bank last week for a Pre-Easter meet and a pair of personal records to lead the way.

Rhett Reynolds cleared 6-04 to win the high jump by four inches and the local junior also earned a sixth place finish in the long jump with a leap of 18-02. Reynolds just missed out on a top six finish in the 400 with his time of 57.5.

Jackson Appley set a pair of personal records in the shot put (31-03) and the discus (83-05.5) but did not place.

A pair of freshmen led the Lady Coyotes on the day as Cami Blevins placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 4-02 and sixth in the pole vault, clearing 5-07 to lead the girls. Aisha Munson placed third in the 3200 with a time of 18:05.5 to round out the Shelby team points.

The Coyotes will be back on the track this week as they have back-to-back trips to Havre. On Wednesday the Coyotes will be competing at the Cal Wearley Memorial Meet before returning to Havre Saturday for the annual Lions Meet.
