Junior Hannah Fetters and the rest of the Lady Wolves will hit the diamond this week with games scheduled for Thursday and Saturday at the Cut Bank Sports Complex.

The Cut Bank Lady Wolves’ softball team will open up their season this week with a couple days of home field advantage. The local diamond dwellers are coming off a fourth place finish at State last season and boast an experienced squad that will host Browning tomorrow (Thursday) before hosting a jamboree on Saturday.

Head coach Mike Pyette’s squad is led by returning All-Conference performers senior Jazmine Spotted Bear and junior Hannah Fetters. Spotted Bear earned All-State and First Team All-Conference honors last year while Fetters earned Second Team accolades.

Joining them this season are seniors Sarah McDonough, Hailey Wahl and McKenna Killian; juniors Jada Doore, Sam Burke, Haylee Kropp, Sydnei Littrell, Aryana Black and Shelby Big Spring; sophomores Sienna Spotted Bear, Camille Bradley, Bizzy Whitford, Kaylee Weatherwax, Sadie Pepion and Brianne Murphy; and freshmen Mariah Wahl and Tayleigh Running Fisher. Pyette is assisted this season by Cody Fetters and Emma Pyette.

Cut Bank and Browning are slated to face off Thursday at 4:30 in a game that was originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Saturday, the Lady Wolves welcome Conrad, Shelby, Havre JV and Great Falls Central for a jamboree. Cut Bank will have games at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
