The Cut Bank Creek Brewery will be hosting a bingo night on Tuesday, March 23, from 6-8 p.m. in support of the Cut Bank Community Garden. There will be live bingo for $5 with all proceeds going towards the community garden. The Cut Bank Creek Brewery will also donate $1 for each drink sold.
The fundraiser provides a chance for citizens of Cut Bank and the surrounding communities to have a drink, have some fun, visit with the Cut Bank Community Garden board about gardening, sign up for a garden spot and even help yourself to free garden seeds.
The cost for a 10x20 foot plot is $15 and includes access to tools, water and seeds. On May 10 there will be a meet and greet for the community garden members with a demonstration of power equipment.
The Cut Bank Community Garden is located on Hwy. 213 and 3rd Ave. NW, behind the Anna Jeffries Elementary School.
There is currently work being completed on a demonstration native plant and pollinator garden within the garden for the community to learn from. The garden also works with the Glacier County Conservation District to provide workshops open to the community free of charge.
