Free lunches extended for kids in K-12 in Cut Bank

Free lunches will be offered for kids and teens in grades K-12 through July 23, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Cut Bank Swimming Pool parking lot. Lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m. Organizers are using the “pick up and go” system and ask those coming to pick up lunch to stay in their car and lunches will be brought out to you. Walkers are asked to wait and social distance in the parking lot and lunch will be delivered to you.

This week’s menu: Wednesday, July 15: Corn dogs, fruit, chips, milk; Thursday, July 16: Pancakes and eggs, fruit, milk.

Next week’s menu is: Tuesday, July 21: Chicken enchiladas, corn, fruit, milk; Wednesday, July 22: Turkey sandwich, chips, fruit, milk; Thursday, July 23: Cook’s choice.

Browning Schools summer meal service has resumed

During the Blackfeet Tribe’s Stay At Home Order, Browning School District #9 once again began delivering the summer food service program to children from zero to age 18 on Tuesday, June 30. Meals are available for all children. 

Browning Schools is utilizing a “Grab and Go” system.

Breakfast will be delivered from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Supper from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Delivery areas include the Skate Park and the areas surrounding: North Glacier Homes, South Glacier Homes, College Homes and Vet Homes; Treatment Center and the areas surrounding: Hospital Housing, Mountain View, Death Row, Horse Shoe Loop and Nurse Creek Road; Swimming Pool and areas surrounding: Moccasin Flat, 700 block and 600 block; BMS Line Up: China Town, 1400, 1300, 1200; Femaville and Starr School.
