The Glacier County Health Department received notice last night via DPHHS that an individual has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Glacier County. The individual is a female in her 40’s. Due to patient privacy rights, no other information will be released at this time, reported Heath Department officials.

The Glacier County Health Department is actively following up to learn more details about the individual’s exposure risk and travel history, and to identify and communicate with anyone who may have been in close contact with the patient.

Earlier this week Toole County Health Department reported there has been a third COVID-19 death in Toole County.

“It pains me to report Toole County’s sixth positive COVID-19 case and its third death,” said Blair Tomsheck, Toole County Health Nurse in a press release on the Toole County Health Department Facebook page.

“We know this virus is deadly, and now that reality has hit home in a terrible, tragic way. You as a community need to come together and stop this by following the guidance provided. We are working diligently around the clock to stop the spread and keep our community informed,” Tomsheck stated in the release.
