The following press release was issued on Monday, Feb. 3, by the Glacier County Sheriff’s Office.
On Jan. 23, the Glacier County Sheriff’s Office (GGCO) 911 Dispatch Center received a call for service for a vandalism and theft at the Cut Bank Golf Course. Deputies responded to the scene. An investigation was immediately started in conjunction with Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services (BLES) officers and quickly determined the offense to be felony burglary.
Two golf carts and various other golfing items, including clubs, were taken. During the execution of the burglary the suspect(s) caused extensive damage to golf course property. Through the course of the investigation, and with the help of citizens, deputies were able to recover the two golf carts.
The investigation has found multiple break-ins occurred over the weekend of Jan. 26. BLES took other reports involving break-ins in and around the golf course. Deputies and officers currently working the cases have identified person(s) of interest. The GCSO is asking the public to contact GCSO Dispatch at (406) 873-2711 with any information they may have about the burglary. Any information, regardless of significance, may be the information needed to bring the suspect(s) to justice.
