Proceeds from the afghan raffle will go towards the maintenance of the Dupuyer Community Hall and other community projects.

The Dupuyer Community Club (DCC) is sponsoring a fundraiser to provide for the maintenance of the Dupuyer Community Hall and other community projects. Due to the pandemic, the DCC was unable to host Grizzly Day in August and the annual pancake supper fundraiser will most likely not be held this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. To help raise the needed funds, the DCC is raffling a hand-knit afghan from Beaverslide Dry Goods merino wool yarn, which measures four feet by six feet.

DCC hopes to sell at least 100 tickets in the coming weeks in order to hold the drawing on Dec. 22, just in time for Christmas!

Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and are available for purchase at Buffalo Joe’s and Dupuyer Cache in Dupuyer; Rita Christiaens at 472-3241 or by mail at: Dupuyer Community Club, P.O. Box 135, Dupuyer, MT 59432.
