The Cut Bank Golf and Country Club board of directors announced Monday, May 18, the Cut Bank course is officially closed due to the Blackfeet Tribe’s ordinance addressing COVID-19. According to the Board of Directors, “We have been notified that anyone caught golfing on the course will be subject to a $150 fine. This applies to both tribal and non-tribal members.”

Golfers need to be aware Tribal Police will be patrolling the area to make sure the ordinance is being followed, informed the board. “We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope to open soon,” the board concluded.

The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council will revisit the restrictions at their meeting on May 28.
