There will be another opportunity to save a life, or several lives, by donating blood on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., by appointment at the Cut Bank Civic Center during the Northern Rockies Medical Center Health Fair.

The Red Cross will be testing all blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies, providing donors insight into whether they have been exposed to the Coronavirus.  Antibody testing may indicate if the donor’s immune system has produced antibodies to the Coronavirus, regardless of whether they developed symptoms or not.

Appointment will be required. Please call Landis Meeks at (406) 521-0174 or 873-2151 to make your appointment.

Each Red Cross blood drive follows the highest standards of safety and infection control.  Precautions – including temperature checks, social distancing and face covering for donors and staff have been implemented to protect the health of those in attendance.

To get started, follow the instructions at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass. This will also have the results of the COVID-19 antibody test once results are available.
