The North Central Mon-tana Friends of NRA are excited to be able to gather together again. The committee and the Pondera Shooting Sports Club, with the help of the 4-H Shooting Sport Club, will be hosting its 20th annual banquet on Oct. 2 at the Pondera Shooting Sports Club in Conrad. Doors open at 5 p.m., social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with the prime rib dinner at 7:15 p.m.

Only 300 tickets will be available so make sure to get your tickets early. The committee is offering $100 and $50 tables which will get prime seating and get to eat first. You won’t want to have to wait for the tasty prime rib dinner by Christiaens Meats of Valier.

Sponsorships and tickets may be purchased from the following members:

Conrad: John Shevlin at 788-6908, Becca K. Irwin at 788-1043, Northern Front Guns and Ammo at 406-231-4467, Nikkie E. Dupree at 406-399-0620, and Kim Hofstad at 406-799-4723.

Through grants from Friends of NRA, clubs and organizations in North Central Montana have obtained over $80,000. This banquet will give supporters of the Friends of NRA a great opportunity to view the fruits of the money raised through these banquets.

This year we will again have the Smoking Dozen Raffle, the Big Shooter Gun Raffle, the Liberty Safe raffle, many games to play to win guns and other exciting prizes, plus live and silent auctions.

Half of the money raised by each Friends of NRA banquet will be spent in the state in which it was held.
