Kim Winchell was declared the new Mayor of Cut Bank by acclamation at the last meeting of the City Council. She was unopposed for the position in the upcoming general election, which was cancelled due to the lack of contested races.

With Mayor Dan Raemaeker’s term set to end on Dec. 31, 2021, incoming Cut Bank Mayor Kim Winchell, is prepared to take office on Jan. 1, 2022.

“I am really excited about this opportunity,” Winchell said. “I love Cut Bank and this community, and I felt like I needed to be a part of making it run.”
