Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cut Bank Area Chamber Board of Directors and the Lewis and Clark Committee voted to cancel the annual Lewis & Clark Festival, scheduled for July 23-25, at their meeting on July 8.

The Chamber board also cancelled the Business Appreciation Days barbecues in Sunburst, Valier, Cut Bank and Browning, which were scheduled Aug. 17-20, informed Executive Director Erin Kittson.

The announcement comes on the heels of several other summer events which have been cancelled: Ivan Doig Day in Dupuyer, Native American Indian Days in Browning, Charging Home Stampede 4-H Fair in Browning, Four-County Marias Fair in Shelby, Montana Shakespeare in the Park in Cut Bank and Montana Fun Weekend, also in Cut Bank.
