Glacier Electric Cooperative (GEC) officials are ecstatic over the response to its partnership with the Glacier County Library Memorial Foundation to offer Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to qualifying members. The program provides books to children, ages 0-5, in the GEC service territory…FREE!

Glacier Electric’s sponsorship allows for children aged 0-5 to receive a book each month FREE of charge when they sign up. According to GEC’s Jonnalea Tatsey, “The first day we were able to sign up participants, we received 41 registrations. As of this week, we have 123, she added.

“When you register your child for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library sponsored by GEC, they will receive a new book in the mail every month from birth to age 5. The book will be delivered to your home each month as long as you and the child are residents of Glacier Electric Cooperative’s service territory, or the child turns 5,” explained GEC’s Erin Nelson. Registering is simple:

• Register online at http://imaginationlibrary.com , or

• Complete the registration form and mail to Glacier Electric at PO Box 2090, Cut Bank, MT 59427. A copy appeared in last week’s newspaper and will be published in the newspaper again next week.

• Come into either the Cut Bank or Browning GEC offices to complete a registration form in person.

“Approximately 8 to 10 weeks after you complete the registration, your first book will arrive to your child at your home and will continue to do so until they turn 5 or you move out of the GEC service territory,” said Nelson.
