The enthusiastic Coyote crowd cheered on the boys in Bozeman at the state tournament!

The Shelby Coyotes played four games in the State Boys Basketball Tournament last week, losing to Lodge Grass twice, 61-45, and 63-49, they defeated Eureka 57-41, and beat Bigfork 45-40. The Coyotes played shorthanded, with Trenton Emerson and Aiden Torgerson out with foot injuries. The Coyotes finished the year in fourth place.

Shelby opened the tournament against the Lodge Grass Indians, and gave the defending champs a scare in the first half. Lodge Grass led 17-10 at the end of the first quarter, but only had a three-point lead at the half leading Shelby 30-27.
