Tommy Running Rabbit and the Runnin’ Indians and Lady Indians will start 2022 at home this week, hosting Cut Bank Thursday night and Whitefish on Friday.

The Browning Runnin’ Indians return to the court this week along with the Lady Indians. They will host Cut Bank on Thursday, Jan. 6, and Whitefish on Friday, Jan. 7, at the BHS Tipi Dome.

Freshman boys will start at 3 p.m. at Browning Elementary in the Jan. 6 game against Cut Bank while the JV boys will play at 4:30 p.m. at the high school. The varsity Runnin’ Indians will play Cut Bank at BHS at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, the JV girls will play the Cut Bank JVs at 3 p.m. at the high school, followed by the varsity Lady Indians playing at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, the JV boys will play Whitefish at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity Runnin’ Indians at 7:30 p.m. The freshman girls will play Whitefish at 3 p.m. at Browning Elementary as well as the JVs who will play Whitefish at BES at 4:30. The varsity Lady Indians will play at 6 p.m. at the high school.

Finally, traveling fans can catch them both in Libby on Saturday, Jan. 8. The freshman boys will play at 1 p.m. at Libby Elementary, followed by the JVs in the same venue at 2:30. The varsity Runnin’ Indians will play at 5:45 at the high school. The freshman girls will play at 1 p.m. at Libby High School, followed by the JVs at 2:30 and the varsity at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 6, Browning wrestling fans will have to travel to catch the girls and boys in action. The boys are going to Whitefish for duals with the Bulldogs and Corvallis where the action starts at 5 p.m. Then for both girl and boy wrestlers, it’s on to the Western Montana Duals on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8, in Ronan.

All in all, it’s a busy week for Browning athletics.
