The Montana Livestock Loss Board will be meeting at the Moose Club, located at 617 South Main in Conrad, on Thursday, Oct. 14, starting at 10:30 a.m.

The morning session will be an informal meet and greet where citizens can visit with board members. After lunch the board will hold their regular board meeting.

The main topic for this meeting is revamping their grant application to make it more rancher friendly. The board’s hope is this will encourage more ranchers to apply for a loss prevention grant.

Once this form is finalized, the board will send out more information to let ranchers know when to apply.
