The BHS hardball boys hosted two games in Cut Bank last week, playing Eureka on April 24 and Frenchtown on April 26. In between, they played a double header in Whitefish on April 25.
In its first year of existence, Coach Douglas Blackman is encouraged by progress he’s seen even in the early stages of building a program. “They’re still learning, but I love the growth,” he said. while the Eureka and Whitefish games were short, he noted Browning’s having gone six innings against Frenchtown.
This week, the BHS baseball team is playing at St. Ignatius on Monday, May 1, and then at Troy on Wednesday, May 3. This Saturday, they host Plains at the Cut Bank diamond
where the action starts at 1 p.m.
