“I’ve never seen it like this,” Cut Bank Police Chief Mike Schultz told the Cut Bank City Council at their meeting on Sept. 20. Schultz reported officers are dealing not only with an increase in felony crimes but also gun-related incidents.

Schultz reminded the Council the Cut Bank of today is not the Cut Bank of 10 years ago. “Things are changing…,” he said pointing out two recent incidents of “people are pulling guns on us” or another resident. “The grossest thing I’ve ever seen” is how he described a call where a woman was “severely neglected” and “almost killed.”
