It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This week is a busy one in Cut Bank and Valier with holiday open houses and the annual bazaar.

Christmas has arrived at the Rose Petal in downtown Cut Bank. The Rose Petal’s Holiday Open House is set for Friday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Now is the time to pre-order your holiday centerpieces and Christmas wreaths and get a jump on your Christmas shopping!

DeVoe’s Builders Service in Valier is holding its annual Open House on Nov. 11-13. Expanded hours are scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 11. Stop in from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to see all the holiday décor and giftware. Friday and Saturday the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shoppers will be treated to complimentary refreshments while they check out all the items on sale for this special three-day event.

The Cut Bank Chamber’s Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Cut Bank High School gym and lobby areas. Admission is $3 per person regardless of age.

Santa Claus has once again cleared his calendar to make an appearance at the bazaar. The Chamber invites children of all ages to come and have their photo taken with Santa, who will be set up near the high school library, away from the bazaar booths.

Concessions will be available throughout the day. And don’t forget, the Glacier County 4-H Cheesecake Bake-off will also be selling individual slices, and packing to go orders, after the judging.

The Holiday Bazaar will also feature a Czechoslovakian Raffle. All vendors are asked to donate an item from their booth. Shoppers can purchase tickets for $1 each or an arm’s length for $20 and use those tickets to enter a drawing for each of the items.
