Following a two-year hiatus, St. Margaret Church will host its annual Fall Dinner and Raffle again this year. The event is set for noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 and is hosted by the St. Margaret Parish Council of Catholic Women.

A turkey dinner with all the fixings will be served beginning at noon at the church at 129 2nd Ave SE. Dinner costs $12 for adults or $8 for those 14 and younger. Children age 4 and younger will be served for free. Included with the dinner will be a selection of pies for dessert.

The event also features a raffle, with nearly a dozen major prizes up for grabs, including a quilt made by Margot Meyer, a print by local artist Sammy Jo Bird and a Christmas village display. Raffle tickets cost $5 or six for $25.

There also will be a Czechoslovakian raffle, with parishioners donating smaller items. Tickets for that raffle will cost 25 cents.

Proceeds from the event fund church maintenance and operations.
