Street paving related to the city of Cut Bank’s water infrastructure project is expected to begin Wednesday, Aug. 3, according to a recent report from City Superintendent Jim Suta.

The paving is being done by C&C Excavation out of Havre. Crews are patching up streets that were dug up last summer and this summer as part of Phase 4B of the city’s water project.

Suta’s report says the paving crew was expected to arrive in Cut Bank on Tuesday night and begin work Wednesday. Work was slated to begin July 25 but the crew had a breakdown and was repairing equipment. They will mill and clean out all the dig areas, which will take about a week, before paving begins.
