The Panther wrestling squad will open their season this weekend at the Cascade Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Head co-coaches Joe Monroe and Isaac Ramos have a small but mighty roster with one boy and two girls. The trio will be looking to make noise in the Western B/C division this season with their sights set on the state tournament.

Joe Ramos will be representing the Panthers as the lone male on the squad. Ramos, a junior, came up short of a trip to state last season.

Fellow junior Hannah Monroe hung up her basketball sneakers this season and will be joined on the mat by freshman Jazmyne Ramos. The duo will look to follow in the footsteps of Skyler Connelly, who topped the podium last season as the first Montana Girls Wrestling State Championship at 132 lbs.

The Panthers have a total of five meets slated before the new year. In addition to the Cascade meet, they will be competing in Superior, Fairfield, Great Falls and Shelby in the coming weeks.
