The Montana State University Extension office is hosting a meat canning workshop Dec. 8 in Cut Bank. The workshop runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 602 E. Main St.

Space is limited and pre-registration must be completed by Friday, Nov. 25.

Learn about pressure-cooking principles with hands-on experience. Attendees will learn about recommended research-based recipes and resources and safe food handling.

There is a fee for the workshop, though Extension is charging different fees for several such workshops across the region. For event fees and other information, contact the Glacier County Extension office at 406-873-2239.
