The holiday season is officially here and that means it’s time for the annual Parade of Lights and social in Cut Bank. The Parade of Lights is a Cut Bank Area Chamber of Commerce spon-sored event and this year it will take place on Friday, Dec. 3.

Line-up for the parade is at 6:15 p.m. at Glacier Motors on the west end of Main Street. The actual parade will start at 7 p.m. and move east toward the Glacier County Courthouse.

No registration or sign-up is needed for parade entries. “If you want to have an entry in the parade, all you have to do is show up at Glacier Motors at 6:15 p.m. and get in the line-up,” said Stephanie Eney, President of the Cut Bank Area Chamber of Commerce.

After the parade, a fun social and gathering will be held at the Joe Meagher Memorial Civic Center. Refreshments will be provided. Santa Claus will be at the Civic Center too, so be sure and bring your little ones so they can enjoy a visit with Santa.

While at the Civic Center, you can cast your vote for your favorite float. Prizes will be awarded to the top float vote getters.

To keep the lights and the decorations lit each year, you can mail your donation to the Cut Bank Chamber, P.O. Box 1243, Cut Bank, MT, 59427. Please mark your check in the memo box “Christmas Lighting Display.”
