The Shelby High School student council will be hosting the annual Veteran’s Day Program on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., in the Shelby High School (SHS) auditorium.

Veterans and their guests are invited to arrive early, at 10 a.m., to enjoy a cinnamon roll and coffee reception. At this time, veterans are asked to sign in so they can be recognized during the program.

SHS students will provide selected readings and musical selections. A video produced by the video media class honoring local veterans and their families will also be shown.

After an absence of one year due to COVID-19 safety restrictions, the SHS student council is proud to be able to revive this long-standing tradition.
